It seems like there’s no stopping the latest trend of bloggers putting their blogs up for sale. Perhaps this is due to blogging fatigue or perhaps it’s a combination of Google updating their PageRank and bloggers being encouraged by the high price which 6 month old blogs are selling for.

One mans goal sold for $8,500, Shylock Blogging went for $4,000, Blogging Fingers went for $6,000and Blog Oh Blog was sold for a whopping $10,000!

This morning I noticed that Cash Questsis now up for sale at SitePoint with a minimum bid of $7,000 and a ‘buy it now’ of $15,000.

Cash Quests, formerly Kumiko’s Cash Quests, has been online for close to a year now and in that time has grown from a blogger based blog to a wordpress powered blog with it’s own domain and close to a thousand subscribers. Through text link sales, banner ad sales and paid reviews the site is managing to make around $1,000 a month so $7,000 is not a bad price.

I’m not sure of the reason why Kumiko is selling the blog however I wish her all the best with the sale and I have no doubt we will see her around the blogosphere in some context in the future
